I imagine that when I mention the Commemoration of the Living, your first thoughts are likely that this is an act of our doing; that we are adding to our offering the intentions and needs of those who are living. But while we are always affected by our actions, prayer and worship toward God, we are not the primary end. We continue our prayers by asking God to “Remember (His) servants”, along with all who are gathered and those whom we love. This is another time for you to bring your personal intention for the Mass to mind.
